Artist Story
Choose good-quality paint that works well for the surface you're painting and gives you the finish you want.
Get Your Supplies Together: Make a list of what you need and gather all your brushes, rollers, tape, and other stuff before you start.
Clean it up, fix any holes or rough spots, and maybe put on a primer so the paint sticks better.
Protect Everything Else: Cover the floor and any furniture with old sheets or plastic so you don't get paint on them.

Put on the Paint: Use brushes for edges and rollers for bigger areas. Make sure you put it on evenly and not too thick.
Let it Dry and Clean Up: Wait for each coat to dry like it says on the can, and clean your brushes and rollers when you're done.
